Winding:

Winding is basically transferring a yarn from one type of package to another. This simple definition may make the winding sound like a trivial process, however, it is an important and essential process in warping and spinning for ring spun yarns. Winding Efficiency:
The ratio of actual production and calculated production is called winding efficiency. It is expressed as percentage. The efficiency of a highly automated winding operation is calculated by modification of the mathematical model developed for a similar problem.

We know that,

Time, t = length / speed

• L = Length of yarn in the package
• Speed, V = 745yd/min.
• Weight of the yarn in the package, W =3.00 lbs
